Mahjong Super Cup and so Much More in Macau (3)

It’s time for updates on the Mahjong SuperCup! The event is scheduled for December 13th and 14th at the Grand Waldo Hotel & Casino in Macau and ReachMahjong.com is going to be there.
We announced the basic structure of the event last week and this week we’re bringing you more details.
Day 1 will be based on each player’s performance at their own table. There will be 3 rounds with the top 2 players on each table advancing to Round 2, and the top 2 players on each table in Round 2 advance to Round 3. From Round 3 only the top player from each table will advance to Day 2.
Day 2 rounds will all be based on a combination of cumulative score and performance at the table. 16 players will move on to Round 5. Depending on space, the top player at each table will move on as well as runners-up at each table. If there are too many tables then ties will be broken based on cumulative score. From Round 5, the top 4 players will move on to Round 6 based on their score and Round 6 is the Final Table and where everything is decided!
While the tournament is where everyone is going to be, don’t fret if you bust out early. The Grand Waldo is the home of an excellent spa with affordable prices for you to relax your disappointment away. Get a glass of wine, have a foot massage or a pedicure, watch some TV or surf the web in their comfortable armchairs. They also have automatic Mahjong tables in case you’re rearing to practice for next year’s event.
You can also come visit ReachMahjong.com while we’re recording our podcast and promoting our exclusive t-shirts and key chains. Maybe you’ll even get Jenn to go bungee jumping again. There’s also a big poker tournament (the PokerStars Macau Macau Cup) going on the same weekend in the same venue. So come for the Mahjong and stay for everything else. We can’t wait to see you there!
