Introducing Konno!
I learned Mahjong on a Nintendo Game and I started playing at parlors when I was 18. Once I could beat the game I joined the professional league at 26.
We have a new columnist at ReachMahjong.com! Konno was part of RM.com’s team which was at the World Series of Mahjong. Our new member is very keen on spreading the word of Mahjong internationally. In the meantime, here are some more details to get you excited!

麻雀履歴、覚えたきっかけ How you got into Mahjong
覚えたきっかけは当時のファミコン（家庭用ゲーム機）で、フリー雀荘に行きだしたのが18歳からで勝てるようになりプロを志し、26歳の時プロとなり現在に至る。

プレーヤーとしてはタイトル獲得を目指す一方で麻雀の世界的な普及を目指している。
As a player my only goal is to win a title. Long-term I am aiming for worldwide growth of the game.
