I\'ve seen the tables and descriptions, but are there any on-line or otherwise scoring tutorials for Riichi? My experience thus far in the world of Mahjong has been with Chinese Classical or specifically the 1924 codified rules. Because of this background, the process of determining on what table and with what fu and han and yaku and whatever is a daunting task to grasp.
Gasp!
Because I would like to teach 3 other people (my Chinese MJ group) how to play Riichi I have to be thoroughly booked up as it were, else they will have a fool for an instructor! :(
I learn by doing, as most of us do, so are there scoring exercises that will move me along toward basic competantancy in the ability to score Riichi hands?
Thanks in advance to all Reachers, near and far, for reading my humble post.

Re:Scoring Tutorials
I find this place to be a bit easier to begin understanding scoring:
http://www.japanesemahjong.com/reachmah ... _intro.htm
or at least, I prefer how it has sorted the yaku.
The Toudai-Shiki site is better at incorporating the Japanese name for the yaku.
Hope these help :D.
