Any news on a new game for consoles? I loved this game on my PS Vita and wish it would come out on Switch or other console.

Hi. Good question - and the short answer is no.
The MFC console games were always great choices for presentation and options but I haven't seen a new one since the Vita and iOS/Android versions. I have a quick look on the Japanese Switch and Playstation online stores each week and haven't seen anything there. Like other handheld platforms in the past (DS and PSP), there are a decent number of other mahjong games for the Switch now but I can only assume that Konami think they've covered the portable market with the app. The MFC brand is still active, with the latest iteration of the arcade game released last year and the MFC pro team now in its sixth year of M League.
