I\'m brand new to Ron2. Bought a paid membership recently. How does the ranking system work - which is better, a higher number or lower? And... when do you get a rating. I have played three different quarter games and there is still a blank in the rating space next to my nickname.
Thanks

Re:Questions about Ron2
A higher number is better. I rember I had to play a few games before I got a rating, but I don\'t remember how many that was.
Re:Questions about Ron2
Thanks for the info on high vs low rating numbers. On Mahjong Time, it\'s just the opposite - the number is your ranking for each kind of rule set. I\'ve played 11 quarter games now on Ron2 and I\'m still seeing a couple of dashes and no numbers after my name. I\'ll be patient. As a longtime chess player, I remember when I started out and needed a minimum number of games to get rated - although USCF did do provisional ratings.

Yes, I\'ve played on Ron2 many times, and I don\'t have a rating or ranking either. Just four dashes.

Thanks, Tom. That\'s reassuring. I figured I must be doing something wrong. I\'m even paid up :-)
Re:Questions about Ron2
Just got my answer. After I played my 20th game, a rating showed up next to my name. That\'s apparently the threshold.
