I think the same, played right now to see it.

30 points where deducted from my rank total when I ended the match. So, I do believe, as Or2az, that those are the table fee points.

Well that was fun. A little too easy perhaps, but enjoyable. It took 10 tonpuusen with no open tanyao, two things I don't normally do, but I made it from rank 40 to #1 and into D-2. I'm sure it will get a bit more challenging as you move up these levels.
The 30 pts is definitely a playing "fee" but with the Uma and the Oka, it's not a lot when you win. Coming in 4th (negative score) will cause you to lose points.
A nice game. The screen background changes from green to red when you riichi and the scoring is done very clearly with large yaku listings and arrows which direct the transfer of points in a cool way.
Thanks again to Ignatius for his time in preparing that very efficient tutorial.

Okay, last translation request regarding Onsen Mahjong:Return.
Free Mode, choosing the character you were able to unlock.

Middle button on the right is for rule changing. No problem.
Top button. Not exactly sure what it does. When pressed, you get 2nd picture. The level you set disappears and the "-300 text" disappears. Not sure what it says. Notice that the original girl appears on the new girls left. She wasn't there in the 1st picture. You can now choose her instead. Even if you don't, and stick with the new girl, you still end up playing as the original girl. ?? What a mess.
Bottom button. Doesn't seem to do anything.
The game board itself is good, similar to the other Fortune one, I just seem to be navigating around in circles. (and losing points)
Not that any of this REALLY matters. Well, maybe.

Top button: マイキャラ設定/ My Character.

This bring your to the second screen.

This button lets you choose the character you will play as in free mode. That's why you are able to see the first girl of the game, the one with the ribbon, on the left.

She is the character selected automatically for you to play as in free mode, so you cannot choose her in the first pic.

In the first screen you've posted you are selecting who to play against, so you can set the level of the girls. (Probably, to level them up you need to use points, those 300 points shown at the top of the screen.)

Middle button: ルール設定/Rules Setting.

This is as you say.

Lower button: ランダム/Random.

This set everything randomly in this free mode.

The first girl of the game is Hikari.
And the one shown in your screens is Akiho.

Review and final update for 麻雀の神2 〜麻雀グランプリ〜/Mahjong God 2 〜Mahjong Grand Prix〜. (see tutorial by Ignatius, http://reachmahjong.com/en/forum/viewto ... 165#p59740)

Grand Prix ladder mode:麻雀グランプリ
As discussed previously, the matches in D league are tonpuusen with no open tanyao, with 40 players (39 virtual and you) in each ladder starting at D-3, (then D-2, D-1, C-3, C-2, C-1,etc,etc.). Starts out easy but I'm sure it will get a bit more challenging as you move up these levels. Rank points are .001 x your match pts including the Uma, Oka, and other occasional bonuses like yakitori and dobon (bankruptcy, Tobi prize), when in use. There is also a 30 pt "fee" for table usage. You will lose points for 4th place (negative scores), or if you don't get enough points to cover the table rent.
Remember, use Wi-Fi , not data!

Once you hit C-3, things start to change. Wareme is now in effect, a chance to gain monster points (or lose them). The table usage fee is 45 points, the rank point conversion factor is now .0015, and the CPU level of the opponents is up to 3. (It will probably eventually get up to 6)
When you make it to C-2, Wareme is no longer in effect but neither are Red Fives.
Still East-Round only/NO Open Tanyao.
Getting to C-1 changes the match to a Hanchan. Tenpai Renchans, both rounds.
The CPU level of your opponents is now up to 4.
Still No Red Fives/No Open Tanyao.

Level B-3 comes with a few rule changes. Tonpuusen is back, Open Tanyao is in effect. Red fives are back in the game,1 in each suit. Double Ron/Triple Ron is now allowed.
The table use rent is now 60 points and the rank point conversion factor is .002

B-2 level gets really interesting. Now the red fives are 2 in each suit and a special wareme rule (dōkasen) comes into play. (see tutorial by Ignatius or Barts' guide)
The CPU level of your opponents is now up to 5.
Regular wareme returns in level B-1.

Level A-3 has two rule changes. The match increases to Hanchan and Red Fives decrease to 1 in each suit. Open Tanyao, Wareme, and double/triple Ron still in effect.
Table rent is now 75 points, rank point conversion factor is .0025 and the CPU has reached 6.

In level A-2, Red Fives are back to 2 in each suit and that special wareme rule (dōkasen) returns.
The CPU level has reached 7. Oh my!

Level A-1 has arrived. 4 Red Fives in every suit. Yikes!!
Noten Renchan is in effect, Agari-yame is not. Dai Wareme is now in effect.
Playing Hanchans with these optional rules in effect makes it very tough to make any consistent progress up the ladder.
16 Dora to start, 20 with a riichi win, maximum CPU level, Big Wareme, double/triple Ron, one bad game and back down to the previous level you may go. Very frustrating. Still, it is a challenge.

It looks like I picked up some extra protons and neutrons, moved down a level on the Periodic Table, and transformed into a more precious metal.
Now I can soar through the mahjong galaxy on a silver board........ like that other guy.

Could somebody help with this game if it isn't too much? 【麻雀】爽快麻雀!イーシャンテン
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... nten&hl=ja

Apparently you play for chips and can unlock some girls to play with or something like that. But there are something like 16 items that you can buy and I don't know what those are for.

Also I cannot figure out what is the point for playing the modes that cost chips to play since they don't seem to reward you with extra. What are those for? Do you win something from them?

爽快麻雀!イーシャンテン is a game that I cannot run in my cellphone as the app stops always, for no reason, while loading. When the game was just released I could play it (I was not interested as the game was 2 players mahjong). It was long time ago. But now...

If you could put some screenshots of the game, I would gladly help you the best I can.

If you have an Android you can make a photo of what program is running at any time. I don't know if every cellphone uses the same method, but mine is: Press the main button (the big one at the bottom and the center), and the button to turn the cellphone off. Both buttons should be pressed at the same time a few seconds and you'll see an effect of a photo taken.

I hope I explained myself clearly.

These are the two areas of interest. I think the second one means that you get bonus chips added when you win but I'm not sure what all the yellow text at the bottom is.

Also after playing a bit, I believe this just means that there is a cap of 5 rounds and after the 5th one it will tally up and boot you back to the menu.

This is probably because it is very easy to win once you have some items. There are other items that I didn't show which give ippatsu, haitei or houtei. If you have some of those you almost can't lose as long as you get tenpai.

Edit: oh yeah, there's one that gives you rinshan kaihou too, so if you have some of those you can pretend to be Saki.
