Life is as beautiful as you want it to be, but it´s only one. That´s why you must not get tired of it. Don´t care if you don´t say something that seems "important" because your mere existence is important for someone.

Thanks again!
By the way, all of these posts from Sept 12th onward refer to the Professional Mahjong Kiwame app.
If you're curious, see the review of this app by Wavemotion under Mahjong Video Games with posts by Barticle and myself.
As of today, it is still in Recent Topics. It's a great app, best one I've found (for 99 cents or less!)

It's a shame that have a Blackberry and not a good and new smartphone...

At least I can play Mahjong thanks to Tenhou, and the PS3 game Mahjong Dream Club.

Thanks! That was a big help. How about these? The 2nd just started appearing after i updated the app. The 1st and 3rd have to do with scoring. They are very similar. Sometimes both buttons appear, sometimes only one does. It looks like they both say the same thing.

It looks like you got it right in the last post, but before that I think 半荘4回中 means "In 4 hanchans (4 games)" not 4 times in 1 hanchan. Same as 東風戦4回中 means "Out of 4 East-only rounds (tonpuusen).

So I believe:
東風戦4回中、毎回ポイントプラス:
means: you need to end positive in 4 tonpuusen games.

So apply this to the other victory conditions. In order to say "4 times in a hanchan" the order will change to 半荘中4回
Notice the 中 is in a different place

I believe you're right about 寺坂 Terasaka, it must be a character name

Hope this helps a bit.

Looks like you're right. That's the hardest part of studying kanji, the fact that changing the order can easily confuse anyone...

仕方が無い... It can't be helped...

But then I wonder, where is the difference in translation between "半荘3回の合計ポイント1
20P以上: In three
Hanchan achieve more
than 120P" and "半荘3回中、毎回ポイント
トップ: Three times in a
Hanchan be the one
with most points, the
one in the top", if there's any difference...

Well, I'll edit everything when in home.

Believe me, with 10 characters, each having their own set of victory conditions, everything helps.
Thanks for your input. Both of you.

I believe because one asks you to get 120 points in three hanchans combined, and the other wants you to be Top each time.
