Many thanks to my friend, Greg Duff, who posted these pictures from last night\'s meeting of the South Arlington Gamers. Our game group meets weekly at a Borders Book Store and will soon celebrate its 3rd Anniversary!
A tight shot of the middle of the table detailing the game components - playing surface, Take Set, seat wind indicator and round wind indicator.
My lovely playing companions: Jean Keller and her daughters Naomi and Rebekah!
Final scores: Jean - 35700, Naomi - 29600, Rebekah - 18500, and Michael - 16300.
I did not win a single hand! (ouch)

You must have miscounted or something: that\'s 100100 points altogether.

Well, from the looks of it, at least you didn\'t deal into any dealer mangans or anything.

I would bet my money on Take set, since they are toffee-backs, no notch, or the things "holding" the back, and one of the 4pins has a flaw of no hole drilled in the centre of one of the flowers (I have that same flaw in my Take set).

Good pics! And can I be the first to wish you a happy anniversary (in advance)? :)
My mother belongs to a hobby club with the same initials - a local group of senior female painters who call themselves the Suffolk Art Group... or the "saggy ladies"!
Do/did you play any other games?

Watch out for the Keller Gang, folks. They sound dangerous! :silly:
Better luck next time, Gg.

The game group plays a lot of euro games, so-called Ameri-trash games, classics and some wargames as well. Here is a link to my (current) collection...

Very impressive. Perhaps if mahjong had a cool name like "Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot" it would have a bigger following in the West. ;)
