It depends on your current score, your rank, if it\'s early or late in the hand, if you\'re East or not, the table wind, how other player\'s hands look, ...

But for most cases, the relevant questions are:
\"How can you improve your hand by letting pass a win?\"
\"Would I be furiten?\"

A1: Letting pass a 2 han hand (pinfu + menzen tsumo) to turn it into an other 2 han hand (pinfu + tanyao) and become furiten is certainly not a good idea.
It\'s the same for B1.
In case of ron (A2 and B2) and if it\'s early in the game, I will be more likely to consider to let pass the win (but probably claim the win anyway).


In some cases, for example if you\'re West in the South round and need a mangan to win the game, claiming a win with a cheap hand is like suicide.

Completely depending on the situation, but I usually dont let a win pass.

If you have one yaku already but you can make it more, I usually tend to wait until my winner comes up, or I can change the hand into a more profitable one.

example: when having 3-bam 4-bam 5-bam 3-crak 4-crak 4-crak 5-crak 6-crak 4-dot 5-dot 6-dot 8-dot 8-dot tenpai for a pinfu+tanyao, changing one tile would make it a mangan, it\'s much better to not to reach. and even when you get your 6-bam and go tenpai for sanshoku, 7700 points from ron, if tsumo 8000 points, in order to get to a haneman it would take one uradora/ippatsu/tsumo with the riichi in place, not that probable.
