I was going with Classy but Noisy is a close second. They both end in y.xKime wrote:I don't think it will chip, but it sounds noisy.
I plan on it. Along with Cracks and CirclesYou should probably play with bamboo tiles
I find the practice mildly distasteful. Mostly because 1) I'm not staring in an overly-dramatic Shin Janki movie and 2) despite my girlish figure, I'm not an anime babe.Especially if you like to slam tiles.

Okay, three coats of lacquer later (with 1 day drying time and light sanding between), and the table is ready for use!

That thing in the middle makes it look so Chinese and classy.
So tell us already, how does the tile-slamming feel!

Jenn has already asked that the baby tea-cup go somewhere else. Wives.xKime wrote:That thing in the middle makes it look so Chinese and classy.
We had a full game on it tonight. The tiles are bone and bamboo - and make a satisfying click on the table without being annoying. Even washing the tiles is has a very satisfying sound. It reminds me of sparrows. Anyway, the table performed perfectly and looks like it really belongs in our library. So tell us already, how does the tile-slamming feel!
