A few possibilities here. First off, I would discard

with toi-toi (all pungs), san anko ( 3 concealed pungs), or seven pairs in sight. Only reason to open the hand would be for toi-toi. Next good tile will determine which way to go. If the chows fill in first, I could end up with riichi/tsumo/dora, and if someone happens to discard another

, I could just go for the quick win.

I agree with

, but it's important to note that by discarding

you're still ryanshanten for tanyao. kuitan is an easy option if you feel like other players are keeping a single

and playing defensively.

I'd say

. Discarding this tile keeps your hand in a good shape by preserving the uke-ire for

, meanwhile establishing a definitive shape in the pinzu, the

.
This shape is very important since this holds the same amount of tiles in uke-ire as any ryanmen at the cost of requiring 3 tiles instead of 2, and even if you are forced into a kanchan wait, the tile that you will discard will always produce a suji trap, making the tile you wait on appear to be safe to other players. (This was probably the reason why Horiuchi-pro warns against trusting post-riichi suji too much, especially suji near the tile used to declare riichi when you are defending.)
