This is according to "4 Winds" program. (Some options cannot be changed)

Each player starts 0 points (and is allowed to be negative). Game is 4 rounds of each wind East South West North. During north round, there is three tiles charleston when tiles are dealt at the beginning of the hand.

In case of exhaustive draw, the deal does not pass. There is pool 6 points to distribute to tenpai/no-ten. Abortive draw occurs in case of 4 kan or 4 same tiles discarded on first turn (regardless what they are).

You need minimum 1 point to call win. You can call any player's tile for sequence, not only previous player. Sacred discard is absolute and missed discard is traditional. It is possible to have multiple winners at the same time in case of multiple simultaneous calls.

Dead wall is replenishing 14 tiles, with dora. There is also red 5 dora. Each dora 1 point, but does not count for the requirement to win.

East can call Ding-dong up to once during each hand.

Payment for win self-draw is: each loser pays 2x hand points. If winner is East, East gets paid 1 from each loser. Otherwise, East pays 1 point to winner.

Payment for win from discard is: discarder pays 4x hand points, the other 2 players pay 1x hand points each. If winner or discarder is East, discarder pays 1 point.

Calling riichi is allowed at any time. It has the same restrictions as the Japanese game except that you do not have to be closed hand. It costs 15 points (even if you don't have any, so you are allowed to go negative) and is pooled in case of draw.

Excuse me, I didn't get the question.
East can call Ding-dong up to once during each hand.
It's spelled with 'K's, not 'D's. And Godzilla is stronger.
Either that or I don't know what you're talking about.

I think Ding Dong is like a mid-game Charleston but you exchange only one tile with each of your opponents. I'm quite happy playing without that sort of rule.

True. I, too, like to play Japanese mahjong without this rule. But I was trying to make up completely different rules using the limits of the computer program to see what I could make. Different kind of mahjong game is different of course! Probably the rules I entered are highly unusual, but it plays. (I still prefer Japanese mahjong rules, though. But I can play some others too.)

Oops, sorry. You can do "King Kong" once per deal, whatever that means. If you make up a mahjong game with King Kong, and then you can make it there is also Godzilla as well.
