I was playing Saki Portable trying to complete Challenge 9 because it was the last one I needed to complete, but Saki and Koromo were being extreamely cheap and evil. The following is Challenge 9:
-Player: Mihoko (81300)
-Opponents: Yumi (102600), Saki (114900), Koromo (101200)
-Round: Sourth Round 1
-Winning condition: Finish 1st
-Unlockables: Mihoko costume set, Mihoko & Hisa illustration
I decided to play one last match and then this happened:

Tell me what stands out the most to you. By the way, I won the round by doing the following:
1. Discard Nan
2. Draw 4 Souzu and Discard Pei
3. Draw 7 Manzu and Discard 9 Souzu
4. Draw 8 Manzu and Discard 3 Manzu
5. Draw 8 Pinzu, Declare Tenpai by discarding 4 Souzu
6. Draw ? and Discard Same
7. Ron on Saki 30 Fu 2 Han?
I do know I came out with 3-crak 3-crak 2-crak 1-crak 1-dot 1-dot . The 1-dot s are supposed to be 0s. I was trying to be creative  .

Then how about 3-crak 3-crak 2-crak 1-crak white-dra white-dra
I guess that's supposed to mean 332,100?

Ah! I didn't think about that lol, and yeah I was talking about a score of 332,100.

one 6-bam instead of 9-bam and it would have been a really nice hand.

Hi, and welcome to the site. :)

Your opponents' tile backs are colour-coded. I guess this is Mihoko's special ability to discern suits/honours?

Yes. Saki has six honors (probably two triplets). Also, there's NINETEEN continuances!

When I first got Janline-R (PS3) a few weeks ago I tried a couple of offline single-player games against bots and was getting the honba count up in the high teens there too. It's like the bots are very good at making tenpai but then reluctant to declare a win. I think I had the difficulty turned down though.

I'd been playing Mahjong Fight Club almost exclusively for several months and in the club rules the dealer only gets an extra hand on a win (not a tenpai draw) so in comparison those offline games in the Janline took a LOT longer to complete...!

The effect is a lot less significant in online play, but it's nice to be able to stay east by making tenpai now.

In Akagi DS Washizu Mahjong, I once made twenty-three continuances (I was being East).
