Discarding 6p and committing into 7 pairs is the right move. 6p first because 8p is closer to the edge, thus a better pair wait.

That was the plan either chitoi or quick calls for toi toi but I ended up losing to east he won a couple turns later with a tanyao pinfu tsumo
