Austrian Riichi Championship Report

So you’ve all seen the results… What happened to my game?! I’d like to blame the fact that I’d left my lucky bracelet at home. But read on if you want a more detailed insight! The venue was the same as last year, at the GO7 in Vienna. For those of you who haven’t been there, it’s an absolutely fantastic location and in a beautiful city.

JPML’s Naoya Ogawa Wins 3rd ReachMahjong.com Cup

On Sunday, June 28th, 2009 we gathered at Vacance, a mahjong parlor in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. After 2 successful ReachMahjong.com Cups, we were optimistic for this, the third in the series. The coveted first prize was a free entry to the $8800 HKD World Series of Mahjong Reach Event. This was the first seat won for the 2009 event and excitement is brewing.

Masters Results

A BIG shout-out to Garthe Nelson who took 3rd place at one of the biggest Mahjong tournaments in all of Japan!
Mahjong Masters, one of the biggest mahjong tournaments in Japan and the JPML took place over the last few weeks and finally finished off with the final yesterday.

Kinryu Majan Taikai Riichi Tournament

Results from yesterdays Reach Tournament in the Netherlands!
On September 27th, the Kinryu Majan Taikai Riichi Tournament was held in the the Netherlands. Sjef Strik took the title for a second time! There were 48 participants this year making it the largest annual Reach Mahjong tournament in Europe.
