Playing with the Pro’s on Ron2

Last year Garthe and I finally got our Ron2 Pro IDs. When that happened, I realized there was a whole world of events that I never even noticed. There are top professional players playing on JPML’S official battle site, Ron2, everyday and any member has the chance to go head-to-head with these players.

Heroic Mahjong!!!

You travel the world, meet some peeps here and there and after a while you find out, there’s more to life than just Ronron and MFC. Now there’s HERO MAHJONG!!
A buddy in Macau recommended checking out the new online Mahjong site so I spent some time on it this evening and I have one word.

Playing on Ron2

I had the day off and chose to play on Ron2 (ron2.jp) from home. Ever since Garthe and I got our pro IDs last year I haven’t had much time to play online, but this year I’m planning to make that time, so I logged in for a few games.

Ron2 as a Pro

This summer Garthe and I finally got Pro ID’s on Ron2, JPML’s online mahjong battle site. I chose to play in Ron2’s Riichi Battle room today. Riichi Battle is one of my favorite modes because of the red 5’s, the hidden dora’s and the high level of play. My rating started at only 19,795 today when I started playing and my goal was to move it up. Since I also wanted to get some Mahjong Fight Club in today too I chose to only play 2 games.

Online Qualifiers for Riichi Event at WSoM

Don’t forget that Mahjong Club will be holding a tournament today (26th May) at 14:00 CET for a chance to win a place in their online qualifier for the WSoM Riichi Event. If you can’t make today, there is another tournament on Friday, 21:00 CET.Registration is $2.20 and there will be a place in the qualifier for one in every ten players. Good luck!
