Japan Professional Mahjong League Japan Professional Mahjong League (JPML) Biggest, best and most successful Mahjong League in Japan. Boasts many pro's on Mondo 21 (Satellite TV in Japan), and endorses Mahjong Fight Club (Konami) and Ron2, the popular online Mahjong Game. There are 2 League seasons and 1 Lady's League for members each year and everyone is welcome to watch. There are also 2 annual tournaments that welcome amateurs, a rookie tournament for new pros and the 10-tier tournament for all JPML pros. Definitely a league to watch and lots to learn from. Notable pros include Takeo Kojima (Mr. Mahjong), Aki and Rumi Nikaidou, Kazunori Takizawa (Takki), and your very own, Jenn and Garthe!
Montreal's Mahjong Club - Le cercle de mah-jong de Montreal Mah-Jong Montreal (MM) Site in French, still the coolest language ever. Alas all I remember from 2 years of French in University is, man, those grad students were cute!!! Walter, the founder, checks out Reach Mahjong's site, and one of the club's members is originally from Japan so there's probably some discussion of Reach Mahjong if you can read it. Mah-jong Montreal hosts Reach Mahjong games and discussions and also tournaments once a year. They are working on a site renewal so check it often!
Mahjong Denmark (MD) Mahjong Denmark (MD) A pretty big site with lots of information. Has information on tournaments using Chinese and Reach rules. Pretty good jumping off point for anyone looking for Mahjong in Europe.
Nederlandse Mahjong Bond Dutch Mahjong site, in Dutch, of course. Mostly seems to be about Chinese Mahjong though there was a reference to a Reach (Riichi) Mahjong tournament that seems to happen yearly.
American Mahjong Association (AMA) American Mahjong Association (AMA) Has some information on cruise tournaments, and the 'American Mahjongg Rules'. Also interesting collection of merchandise connected to Mahjong, though sometimes quite loosely.
European Mahjong Association Like the name says, it has information about Mahjong in Europe, mostly Chinese, it seems. Would also appear to be editted by the same person maintaining the Danish site though the Danish site seems to have a bit more on it.
Hungarian Mah-jong Association (HMA) Hungarian Mah-jong Association (HMA) The menu is temptingly written in English but the rest is what I can only imagine must be Hungarian.
Osterreichischer Mahjong Verband (OMV) Osterreichischer Mahjong Verband (OMV) Austria's Mahjong site, in German. Also seems to focus on Chinese Mahjong.
Deutsche Mah-Jongg Liga German site in German focusing on Chinese Mahjong.
